Responsibilities

• Learn and take the lead on the programming of our sales design software
• Continually develop the products and features in the software to add value to the users and the business
• Build software-based tools to add value for other departments, including ordering, stock control, and analysis
• Work independently and recognise potential opportunities for improvement
• Openly discuss your progress and ideas within the team

Criteria

Essential

• Degree educated in software engineering/development (or equivalent) and/or A minimum of 1 year’s experience in software engineering or computer science
• Knowledge of one or more high-level programming languages e.g., JavaScript, Python, PHP
• Strong mathematical and logic skills
• Able to think critically about problems and find creative solutions

Desirable

• Using SQL and SSMS
• Of web development
• Using a 3D CAD package e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo
• In User Experience design
• In Interior or Product Design
• Using any other programming languages/environments
